Mounted on the ceiling or on the wall, the occupancy detectors provide an automatic control over either lighting, heating, or ventilation by the simple detection of the presence / absence into a room. They come with a PIR sensor and, whenever presence is detected in a room in the range of detection, the heating / ventilation / lights are switched on.

If you didn't hear about the CP Electronics, then you at least have seen many of the switches introduced below.
